Harvesting the Chimdemash Tree.  This is near the top where there are lots of knots.

Hand split billets from the Kleanza tree, ready to be walked out to the road about 150 yards away.  The chainsaw has a 36 inch bar and this log, starting to exhibit some bear claw, remains to be harvested.  There is still 24 feet before the first branch!

Pickup loaded with billets to bring back to the shop for processing.

The ‘manual labour’!  Friends, including our neighbors, my wife and our dogs after we hauled the Kleanza blocks out to the truck.
