Got the cherry set today and it is perfect! I don't know how you managed to find quarter sawn cherry (and figured) in that size. I haunt 2 local hardwood dealers and have never found it wide enough. Saturday I plan to pick up some QS cherry for a neck for this guitar. I have special plans for this baby. Love the smell of cherrywood!

By the way the osage I got from you is drying nicely, can't wait to use that stuff either.

The waterfall bubinga guitar set arrived today. -- Holy moley am I glad I got a second chance to get a set of this wood. Thanks for the great deal!

Now I'm going to sticker it and stash it in my humidty controlled sanctum santorum until the day arrives that I am confident enough to build with wood that nice! Probably that will be in about 18 months at my present rate of progress.

My lacewood set arrived today...wow! Safe and sound, and it has an absolutely beautiful figure to it. I'm hoping John Greven is right, and that this stuff sounds as good as it looks (the tap tone is fantastic). This set will become a 00 12-fret body, probably with sitka on top. That's becoming my favorite body size, and this should become my new favorite guitar.

WOW!!! The Coco is gorgeous…and what a ring! So I cleaned it with naptha to see how she shines and got her all stickered and put under a spare bedroom bed. I’ll wake her up in 6-12 months.

Now, the neck stock…very nice and just the way I wanted it. After doing this for me one time are you willing to provide this service in the future? This one’s for the LP but I’d like to do the acoustics similarly. Let me know if you’re interested or if it’s a PITA in light of your other interests.

I opened the Eucalyptus after a few warmup hours…It’s just gorgeous!! You know, if you look at that curl for too long it kinda plays tricks on your eyes. It reminds me of some of the visions I had in my old college days…never mind! The Cherry looks great and thanks so much for giving me the mulligan! Great packaging, all intact, and woods exactly as I had expected & hoped for. Now all I have to do is try to choose which one to use in the guitar.....may get back to you for some advice on the individual tonal qualities (if you have used any of these on your guitars).

Hi Bob....Just a brief note to say thanks for thinking of me with your last order of WOW mahogany.. This is the kind of stuff I am making all my guitars out of from now on....The figure or EXTREME figure is so striking that IF I am spending 200 hours or more of my time...I might as well make it be worth the WOW factor. .Not that a wonderful hand made instrument isn't a WOW of it's own.. BUT.....You know what I think I mean?

what I was getting from LMI and the cost is a lot

better. If I had extra money I would buy more, but I

Got the wood today and WOW...thanx for the snakewood butstrip and the sapele headplate. I expected the Quilted bubinga to be nice but the pics in no way do it justice...I shot a quick coat of laquer "just to see" and WOW!!!

Just wanted you to know that everything arrived safe & sound. I showed the Cocobolo back set to my client & he insisted on placing it (bookmatched) on one of his office chairs so he could admire it from his desk for the entire afternoon ... I think he's in love. The binding is SUPER! The top is truly lovely ... it's tap tone sustains for 30 seconds & the look is simply gorgeous - exactly what I was hoping for.
