Sapele is a popular tonewood used by many of today's makers and manufacturers. The tonal properties of Sapele is similar to that of African and Honduran mahogany. It produces a warm and woody tone great for fingerstyle players. We have been fortunate to find some Quatersawn curly sapele. |
